Curriculum Knowledge: You should be up to date with the UK Maths curriculum, including recent changes and developments. Familiarity with exam board requirements and assessment criteria is essential for ensuring students' success. Specialist Knowledge: A strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey these in a clear and accessible manner is crucial. You should be capable of inspiring a love for Maths in students of all abilities. Classroom Management: Effective classroom management skills are essential to maintaining a positive learning environment. You should be able to handle a variety of classroom situations with professionalism and care. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to engage with students, parents, and colleagues. You should be able to provide constructive feedback and maintain open lines of communication to support student development.
