Vincent Timber operates from a 2.5acre owned site in Birmingham with 35 directly employed staff.


The Role:


To help drive sales and assist with marketing campaigns through lead generation and being on top of future opportunities. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Sales Manager. You will be supporting the sales department and senior management with a variety of tasks including:


·        Managing correspondence, including calls, enquiry e-mails and customer intro packages.

·        Creating reports to support senior management when required.

·        Communicating with contractors and architects to identify requirements of proposed projects and potential leads.

·        Monitoring specifications on the NBS platform and reaching out to the lead on the project.

·        Helping the sales team to manage major projects and ensure they are followed up promptly.

·        Follow up and update leads which have been quoted but not yet converted.

·        Assisting the Head of Marketing with activities including:

Development of social media posts.

LinkedIn outreach.

Website updates.

E-mail campaigns

Skills/Qualifications:

This position requires a people person who is inquisitive and happy to chat with external stakeholders about upcoming projects and their needs for these projects. You will need to be confident on the phone and highly organised to manage a range of leads and enquiries. A little creative flare is also key. Overall, you will need:

·        Excellent organisational skills

·        Previous lead generation/marketing experience

·        Good knowledge of IT system including Microsoft Office

·        High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

·        Be flexible in your approach with an ability to identify and manage priorities

·        Confident, courteous & professional

·        Good communication skills and people skills essential

Additional Information

·        9.00 - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday / 9.00am - 4.00pm on Friday or

8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday / 8.30am -1.00pm on Friday (one week p/m).

·        23 holiday days plus statuary

·        Salary DOE.

·        People pensions 4% company contribution if matched by the employee.
