This will be supported by ISTQB certification.The RoleOur partner is looking for a skilled QA Automation Tester, proficient with tooling including Gherkin, Karate, Cypress and JMeter. You will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts, identifying defects and ultimately ensuring software solutions meet the highest quality standards.This role requires a QA Tester who can commit to working onsite in Leeds for 2 days a week, is ISTQB certified and holds active Security Clearance too.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and execute automated test scripts using a blend of test tooling including Gherkin, Karate, Cypress and JMeter to validate system functionality and performance.Collaborate with development teams to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.Perform both functional and non-functional testing to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle.Report, track and manage defects and enhancements using bug tracking systems.Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide feedback, and ensure high-quality deliverables.Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.Ensure all testing activities comply with established company standards and industry best practices.Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scripts and testing results.Skills/ExperienceProven experience as a QA Automation Tester, with hands-on experience in Gherkin, Karate, Cypress and JMeter.Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, frameworks and tools.Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.Active SC Clearance.ISTQB certification.Essential RequirementsActive SC Clearance: You must hold active SC clearance to be considered for this role.Certification: You must hold ISTQB certification.This work will require a level of hybrid engagement, represented by 2 days/week onsite near to Leeds.SC Cleared QA Automation Tester - Leeds/Hybrid - 6 Months Initially - £425-£450/day Inside IR35 - Active Security Clearance Required
