General Manager

We are currently looking for a General Manager at The Sherwood Ranger in Carlton-in-Lindrick. The Sherwood has undergone a massive 500,000 refurbishment as we have modernised and upgraded this great sports bar. As part of this, we are looking for passionate people to join the business.

The Sherwood Ranger is a huge part of the local community and we have turned it into a great place to come relax and unwind.

Day to day duties will include (but not limited to):

• Serving customers in a polite and timely manner
• Opening/closing up the pub when required
• Dealing with suppliers/stock check
• Cashing up at the end of the night
• Delegating responsibilities/training bar staff
• Bringing creativity to the role and helping to organise events

Requirements/Skills:

• Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices.
• Proven bar management experience.
