X4 Technology are offering an opportunity for Senior Frontend Developer to come work with global data provider who simplify global trade information and providing valuable insights to the commodities, energy, and maritime sectors.
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will assume a leadership role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using our TypeScript, Vue, and React stack. You'll help shape the technical direction and establish best practices for the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Frontend Developer:
- Design & Development: Spearhead the design, development, and optimization of web applications with Vue, TypeScript, and React.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, promoting their professional growth and expertise.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and project requirements.
- Best Practices: Serve as a technical authority, setting and enforcing best practices in software development.
- Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend technologies and tools to enhance the development stack.
- Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the entire software development lifecycle, tackling complex technical challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our practices innovative.
Requirements of the Senior Frontend Developer
- Extensive experience with TypeScript in modern SPA frameworks (Vue, React, Angular).
- Experience in implementing design systems and component libraries.
- Proficiency in frontend testing strategies (unit, component, e2e, TDD).
- Familiarity with full-stack technologies, including TypeScript, Node.js, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience in managing git monorepos and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Nx).
- Knowledge of creating and implementing micro-frontend applications (module federation).
This will primarily be a remote opportunity that might require the occasional attendance into their London based office. The salary is coming in anywhere between £65,000 - £110,000 DOE.
