Finance Analyst

Client Details Leading company in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry Sizeable and dedicated workforce (5000 +) Respected name within their industry The company's office is situated in Uxbridge, well-connected by public transport Organisational footprint spanning nationwide Known for their commitment to innovation and high-quality productsDescription Finance Analyst responsibilities: Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision making support To provide support to the Chief Management Accountant in managing and developing the management accounting functions Play a key role in the budget setting process working closely with all departments in compiling, analysing and reviewing annual budgets and periodic forecasts Provide support for the continuous improvement of the standard setting process and calculation of overhead rates Control, management and development of the Company's fixed asset register and asset purchase systems Play a major role in the month end and year end close process, supporting both the financial accounting and management accounting teams Work with non-finance departments to ensure that processes are transacted correctly ensuring the integrity of the financial information in the system Management of corporate compliance activities Leading and managing the Accounts Payable processes Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting toolsProfile A successful Finance Analyst should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis Advanced Excel skills and experience with other financial software Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Ability to work collaboratively within the Accounting & Finance department Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Proactive and good use of initiativeJob Offer Finance Analyst: Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 per annum A supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to work in the thriving Industrial / Manufacturing industry A role that offers a breadth of learning opportunities Generous benefits package A convenient Uxbridge location with easy access to public transportation A supportive and progressive work culture
