SEND Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of EHCP's.Provide support and assistance to students with SEND specifically Social, Emotional and Mental health needs and associated difficulties. Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for students' academic and personal development.Provide a safe nurturing and engaging environment. Requirements: Relevant experience working with students with ADHD, SEMH, and associated difficulties is desirable.Delivering engaging activities to pupils in small groups.A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students' individual needs.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.Enhanced DBS.Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes.Available to work at least 3 days per week (8:30-15:30) term time.
