Pharmacy Manager

Position: Pharmacy Manager (Part-Time / Permanent Job Share) Location: Portadown Branch (4-5 High Street Mall Portadown BT62 1HX) Gordons Chemists are Northern Irelands largest Independent Pharmacy chain, with over 60 stores throughout Northern Ireland and Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established leading Pharmacy Chain, working with an experienced team within a busy community pharmacy. The successful candidate will be required to consistently provide exceptional high levels of customer service and have the ability to work as a team within a busy store. Duration / Working Pattern: This position is Part Time and Permanent working 24 hours / 3 days per week as a job share alongside the current Pharmacy Manager commencing January 2025. The position involves working Monday to Saturday as per pharmacy rota working alternate Saturdays. The successful candidate will work alternate weeks alongside the current Pharmacy Manager with set working patterns considered. (Proposed working pattern) Week 1 working Tuesday / Wednesday and Friday Week 2 working Tuesday / Wednesday and Saturday Essential Requirements: Qualified pharmacist registered with PSNI (Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland) Degree in Pharmacy BPharm or MPharm Proficient in pharmacy computer systems and Microsoft applications An up to date knowledge of current pharmacy services Experience delivering professional services Enthusiastic with excellent leadership and communication skills Excellent organisational skills Provide an exceptional level of customer service and patient care Flexible attitude Eligibility to work in UK Desirable Requirements: Previous experience within Community Pharmacy Previous Management Experience We reserve the right to amend criteria in order to facilitate shortlisting To Apply: Applications should be made in writing stating why you believe you are suitable for the role, accompanied by a current CV.
