Lead .NET Developer

As a Lead Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale web applications, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions using Umbraco CMS. You’ll guide a team of developers, oversee technical aspects of projects, and work closely with QA to resolve issues. The role requires leadership in driving scalable and maintainable systems while ensuring solutions meet client needs. Responsibilities: * Lead development of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives. * Maintain high standards for code quality, security, and system architecture. * Collaborate with the delivery team, guiding developers and ensuring smooth communication across teams. * Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to improve efficiency and maintainability. * Stay current on trends, particularly within Umbraco and .NET frameworks. * Support continuous improvement of development methodologies, system architecture, and coding standards. * Ensure scalability and security are prioritized throughout development cycles. Skills & Experience: * Umbraco CMS: Advanced knowledge of back-office customization, API integration, and version upgrades. * .NET Framework/Core (C#): Deep expertise in building robust backend systems. * Database Management: Advanced experience with relational databases, SQL, and cloud-based solutions. * Version Control: Strong experience with Git and other version control systems. * DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably on AWS or Azure. * Frontend: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks like ReactJS. * Development Methodologies: Deep understanding of best practices, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycles. * Industry Background: Previous Consultancy or agency experience is a bonus
