Commissioning Engineer

The successful candidates will provide technical support to projects throughout the company and liaising between Customers, Engineering and Project Managers to provide clients with quality product, commissioned to the requirements of the project and specification.Duties and Responsibilities:Ensuring vehicles and associated equipment have been correctly manufacturedDiagnosing and fixing faultsFunctional testing of equipmentEnsuring test paperwork is correctly completedDemonstrating systems to customersAnswering technical queriesContinuous improvementResponsibility for the planning of all commissioning activities within the manufacturing facilities.Act as point of contact with Client reps during Testing phases.Support Production team/build as directed by Supervisor.Health & safetyPre delivery quality checksContinuous improvementQA checksThis may include off site activities to meet client requirementsEssential Skills:Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.Strong leadership and logistical skills.Customer friendly and able to appreciate the client’s needs.HNC in electrical or mechanical disciplineMinimum of 5 years’ experience in reactive maintenance roleFault finding experienceGood working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Project.
