Michelle Denny Recruitment is excited to partner with a thriving and well-established claims business in Diss, South Norfolk, to find Claims Adjusters for their specialist MGA organization.With a strong niche in the UK motor claims market, this role offers a salary of up to £25,000 per annum and the flexibility to work in the office, from home, or on a hybrid basis. Please note, this would be 3 days in the office, and 2 days at home per week.About the Role:As a Claims Adjuster, you will manage your own portfolio of claims within appropriate authority limits. While experience in commercial, fleet, or AD claims from an insurer or brokerage is ideal, the most important qualities we seek are your character and your drive to contribute to a professional and friendly team.Key Responsibilities:Validate, investigate, and negotiate customer claims with confidenceManage and prioritize your caseload with strong organizational skillsWork towards monthly targets at both team and individual levelsApply commercial acumen in assessing claims, balancing economic considerations with the business’s best interestsUse strong negotiation skills to challenge decisions where appropriateMake quick and accurate decisions on liability, quantum, and indemnityIdentify and handle potentially spurious claimsUnderstand industry procedures, products, and servicesLiaise effectively with blue-chip organizationsWhat We’re Looking For:Comfortable with claims validation, investigation, and negotiationStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasksAbility to work to monthly targets, both individually and as part of a teamCommercially astute with a focus on the business’s best interestsStrong negotiation skills and confidence in challenging decisionsQuick decision-making abilities regarding liability, quantum, and indemnityKeen eye for identifying potentially fraudulent claimsSolid understanding of industry procedures, products, and servicesAbility to liaise effectively with blue-chip organizationsWhy Join Us:In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of training and development opportunities.
