Kotlin Engineer £450 Outside IR35 Remote – UK Do you want to be apart of Europe’s car buying market’s biggest innovator, changing the way customers buy their next car? Our client is currently recruiting a Senior Software Developer – Kotlin. Our client has been scaling across the UK & Europe for 6+ years and making a huge play in the e-commerce used car market through the used of Tech. In this role, you’ll work on the server-side of applications, building scalable services and APIs that power our product offerings. You'll be part of a collaborative engineering team, working closely with product managers and other developers to design and implement solutions that meet business goals. This isn’t a mobile app development role —your focus will be on building the infrastructure and backend features that enable a seamless user experience. What you’ll do: Develop and maintain backend systems using Kotlin and Java Design scalable, reliable, and secure APIs and microservices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues What we’re looking for: Proficiency in Kotlin and Java (backend development experience essential) Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture , and cloud technologies Understanding of database systems and performance optimization Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks is a plus Are you ready to disrupt the mobility market and to be apart of a fast scaling, collaborative, entrepreneurial organisation as their newest Kotlin Developer?
