Cloud FinOps EngineerSalary: £72,000WFH: 3 days a week in LondonCompany:Our client is transitioning to Public Cloud and requires expertise in cloud financial management. The Cloud FinOps Specialist role is critical in managing costs, optimizing cloud usage, and ensuring financial efficiency across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineers, finance partners, and cloud teams to promote FinOps practices and optimize cloud spend.Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud spend, implement optimization strategies, and build cost-related dashboards and reports.Financial Integration: Link cloud activity with financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring accurate accounting.Skills & Experience:Required: Proficient in Python, SQL, Terraform, and cloud cost visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.Understanding of GCP, AWS or Azure Cloud fundamentals in FinOps.Desired: Experience with ETL pipelines, GCP services, and certifications in FinOps and Google Cloud.
