About the role This is an exciting time to join the Operational Excellence and Business Services team… As a Supplier Reconciliation Administrator,  you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of the purchase ledger including the committing and payment of invoices, driving compliance to supplier payment terms and spend adherence. Working as part of a small team, you’ll be responsible for the completion of supplier invoice validation ranging from ensuring correct PO is set up and right increments of funds are available through to ensuring timely payment to supplier.  The role will also include transparent reporting to stakeholders on spend made, passing through any costs to our customers and continually reviewing best methods to ensure efficiency. Day to day you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of the purchase ledger including the committing and payment of invoices, ensuring that all invoices are authorised in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills will be key, acting as the first point of contact for any queries raised by colleagues or suppliers. About You There’s a couple of must haves… You’ll have impeccable attention to detail, be highly numerate and have excellent organisational skills. An understanding of the Electricity industry and its associated third party arrangements would be beneficial, as would an understanding of all Drax Operational systems.
