Service Engineer

Role - Field Service Engineer Location - Midlands, East of England, South of England Hours – Monday to Friday (Days) Package - £38k - £45k plus Door to Door pay (OTE £53k) Overtime at x1.5 and x2.0 Benefits – Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Company Credit Card, Full Training The Company The Business are one of the UK’s fastest growing Process and Automation specialists, supplying to Automotive, Aerospace, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Plastic & FMCG, plus Waste & Recycling. With two main sites in the UK focusing on Design and Manufacturing, they produce all their products here in the UK. Their Service & Engineering Department are divided into three Specialist divisions; Process, Automation, and Manufacturing. Covering the UK, each Team specialise in a different range of machinery, focusing on Service, Breakdown and Installation. The Role The Field Service Engineer will be working as part of the Manufacturing Team, focusing primarily on automated Plastic Manufacturing and Assembly Machinery across the business’ Automotive, Pharmaceutical and FMCG clients. Covering primarily the Midlands, East of England, and South of England, plus some travel nationwide, the Field Service Engineer will be primarily focusing on Routine Services and Breakdowns, plus Installation and Commissioning of new equipment as and when required. Due to the size of the equipment, the vast majority of site visits will be as part of a team, with the exception smaller repair jobs. Hands on the work will be an equal split between Electrical and Mechanical work, however due to certain clients all Service Engineers are required to have a Electrical Qualification to be able to work on site. The Candidate * Need to be based in the Midlands, East of England or South of England * Happy to travel UK wide and stay away when required * Must have a recognised Electrical Qualification * Must be Multiskilled * Must have prior experience working on automated mechatronic machinery * Must hold a Full UK Driving license
