Oracle DBA - FinTech - £100K

Our client is a growing FinTech, building the next gen of finance products, real-time apps and payments platforms.

In brand-new offices in central Newcastle, they’re looking for a strong Oracle DBA to join them.

You’ll be able to own the database solution in a fast-paced FinTech and start-up environment, taking the lead in driving the design, support and performance of database, DevOps and Cloud solutions.

You’ll work across defining database best practices and policies, performance tuning and engineering, automation and even security – A varied role for a database expert at a growing FinTech!

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL gained over a number of years.
• Proven database administration and engineering skills
• Experience of live transactional systems and / or live consumer products is ideal
• Good cloud and DevOps / automation experience would be great
• Solid knowledge of database security
