Due to a promotion, our client is seeking a proven, Home Manager for a large, newly built nursing home with state-of-the-art facilities delivering specialist care and nursing, residential and dementia services. Benefits To You: * Employee Ownership Trust & Supported Career Progression Plans * 35 days annual leave * GP online - providing around the clock GP consultation via an interactive app * Retail/Leisure/Holiday and travel discounts Your Role: * Authentic leader, inspiring role model to run and manage the Service with the support of supernumerary a Residential Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead * To become the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service with 24 hour responsibility for the care of the Service Users * To manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy * To provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users. * To comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CQC for the Registration and Inspection of Nursing Homes and NMC guidelines. * To be a visible and positive role model for all employees, being approachable and providing a regular presence and visibility with all levels of employees as well as being consistent in all actions and decisions * To develop a culture of continuous quality improvement, using the framework of clinical governance * To manage effectively the Service’s budgets and deliver the Key Performance Indicators set for the Service. Essential Requirements * Nurse qualified - desirable not essential * Experience of Managing a large sized Elderly & Dementia Nursing Home as well as clinical teams * Must have a relevant care qualification - QCF Level 5 & previous CQC Registration * Caring and Compassionate nature A superb opportunity to join a prestigious Care Provider who put the welfare of the people they support at the heart of all they do
