Are you passionate about supporting individuals with mental health challenges on their journey towards recovery and well-being? We are seeking empathetic and dedicated Support Workers with experience in mental health care to join our compassionate team at Allied ad Clinical


We are currently recruiting for our Client in Sheffield who requires bank staff to support clients with Mental Health issues, Autism or Learning disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with mental health conditions in a residential or community setting.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support clients in developing coping skills, managing symptoms, and achieving their recovery goals.
  • Foster a therapeutic and supportive environment conducive to the well-being and safety of clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health professionals, social workers, and case managers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor client progress and behaviour, document observations, and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy for clients to enhance their quality of life and independence.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health care.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a mental health, Autism or Learning Disabilities support role is required.
  • Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
  • You must have your MAPA/PMVA or CPI certificate Advanced level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and work schedules.
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and recovery principles is preferred.
  • Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Must be a UK resident and have the right to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorships
