Accountant

We are proud to be working on behalf of a successful Accounting Practice based on the outskirts of Braintree, who are looking to recruit a friendly and motivated Accountant to assist with the day-to-day operations of the practice. The successful candidate will be working within a growing friendly office, responsible for undertaking high quality accounts preparation services for a diverse range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Key Responsibilities: * Preparation of accounts from incomplete records * Preparation of business and personal tax tasks * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * VAT returns * Preparation of management accounts as required * Working and advising clients in relation to their software * Managing a portfolio of clients Skills & Experience Required: * Experience within a practice setting, preferred * Drive and passion in offering a fantastic service. * Excellent communication skills. * Eagerness and drive to progress * Experience with VAT and statutory accounts is essential
