As a leader in our field, we are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong foundation in low latency programming to join our team.Location: LondonContract Duration: 6 monthsRole and Responsibilities:Utilize your extensive expertise in Low Latency Java programming to develop high-performance solutions for e-trading within Front Office/Capital Markets.Demonstrate a deep understanding of at least one key asset class in Capital Markets, such as Rates, Credit, FX, Equities.Conduct JVM tuning and Garbage Collector tuning to optimize system performance.Provide hands-on involvement in discussing and implementing low-level details, encompassing both code and OS aspects.Leverage your knowledge of frameworks such as LMAX Disruptor, Aeron, Coral Sequencer, Gemfire, and Gridgrain/Ignite to enhance system architecture and functionality.Requirements:Expertise Level: 5+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on low latency programming.Proven track record of working in e-trading environments within Front Office/Capital Markets.Proficiency in JVM tuning and Garbage Collector tuning techniques.Ability to articulate and discuss technical intricacies at a granular level.Familiarity with one or more of the following frameworks: LMAX Disruptor, Aeron, Coral Sequencer, Gemfire, Gridgrain/Ignite.
