Seeking an experienced and immediately available People Manager for a 12 month fixed term contract to join a fast paced organisation within the transport & logistics sector.Based out of the corporate headquarters the role will support the Head Office, Transport, Solutions & Optimisation functions. The role will provide strategic and tactical HR expertise for these core client groups across head office function for a population of around 350 FTE reporting into the Senior People Partner.Responsibilities: Develop, support and deliver the tactical, transactional and strategic agenda across head officeProvide guidance, advice and coaching on all aspects of policy and process with a strength around employee relations and employment lawWork on initiatives to enhance employee engagement, communication and performance whilst ensuring alignment to employment policies, processes and regulationSupport on all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations, learning and organisational changeWork in collaboration with the broader People function to drive cohesive and aligned strategiesDrive organisational change through the business with a clear and impactful change processAnalyse data and trends to develop people insights and influence changeWork on ad hoc projects aligned to the people agenda as required using strong project management methodologySkills required:CIPD qualifiedExperience of operating as a People/HR Manager with a full generalist remit ideally within a head office / corporate headquarters with the transport / logistics / manufacturing sectorExcellent stakeholder engagement with the ability to engage people through changeStrong change management and project managementStrong knowledge of Employee Relations with the ability to deal with complex issues and a strong understanding of employment lawExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of analytics, organisational skills and attention to detailThis role is hybrid and will operate 3 days per week in the officeMcGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
