Head of Portfolio Monitoring - Luxury Real Estate Investment Firm - Up to £250k Total Comp

A fast-growing Real Estate Investment firm managing around $3bn in luxury hospitality assets globally is looking for a Head of Portfolio Monitoring. This position has been created due to the firm's growth and will play a key role in developing fund-level reporting tools for both internal and external use. Currently, reporting is centralized in Excel, but the firm is transitioning to a more sophisticated solution using PowerBI to enhance analytical capabilities and build a scalable portfolio monitoring function. In this role, you will prepare portfolio financial reports, create quarterly portfolio valuation models, manage ongoing budgeting and forecasting, and present performance reports to the C-suite. You will work closely with the CEO, CIO, and COO, and collaborate with the Head of Legal, becoming an integral part of the business. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute strategic insights to fundraising, underwriting investments, and structuring, beyond traditional portfolio monitoring responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be CFA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) and have 7 years of experience in a finance-orientated role within the real estate investment and/or hospitality sector. They are looking for a high calibre individual with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Power BI is a pre-requisite, and it is important to be confident building and manipulating models in excel. The firm can pay up to £250k total compensation (base and bonus) depending on experience. They have modern offices in central London, and operate a hybrid working model with genuine flexibility where needed.
