We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dynamic team. As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting our students' educational and personal development. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each student. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials to meet students' needs. Support classroom activities and help maintain an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere. Encourage and promote social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and engagement. Assist with personal care needs, where required, ensuring the safety and dignity of students. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor and report on student progress. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN education.Requirements: Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting is highly desirable. A patient, compassionate, and empathetic approach to working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to promoting inclusion and equality in education. Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent) is advantageous.
