About the QC Supervisor job As a QC Supervisor, you will lead a small team of QC Technicians, overseeing the testing of ingredients and finished products while optimising the use of materials and equipment. You’ll ensure all raw materials and finished products meet specifications and are released on time, while maintaining efficient, accurate, and safe operations. You’ll also collaborate with other departments on product status, actively participate in factory projects, and conduct factory audits. Key tasks * Supervise QC Technicians, provide cover for the Quality Systems Manager and QC Technicians, and attend daily update meetings to address concerns and feedback. * Oversee testing procedures, including taste panels, re-sampling, and managing reject stock, while ensuring compliance with customer requirements. * Collaborate with departments on quality testing, manage external lab testing, micro concessions, and ensure timely release in the product launch process. * Support audits, manage lab consumables, handle factory quality functions (e.g., pest control, calibration), and assist with complaint investigations and OOD stock testing. About You * Food Science Graduate or equivalent with knowledge of the QC function. * Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene management. More details The QC Supervisor job (ref:8759) is based in Buckinghamshire and is paying £30,000 per annum according to your experience. The package includes 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension - employer matches up to 4%, private medical, dental assistance, life assurance, employee assistance programme.
