Finance Business Partner

A great opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a company based in High Wycombe. Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and develop a team of 3 Senior Finance Analysts Develop a commercial partner relationship with middle and senior operational management, providing key metrics and analysis as a foundation for sound commercial decision making Improve staff awareness at all levels of finance and cost / revenue benefits as a key factor in all business decisions Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analyses and bridges, to meet reporting deadlines and provide useful feedback/explanations of financial performance Present monthly results to divisional FBP and other senior personnel including Operational teams to enable understanding of profitability Preparation of the landfill void, capital and provisions calculations Manage and control monthly CAPEX reporting and prepare forecast updates to ensure adherence to budget. Preparation of budgets, forecasts and five year plans for the landfill business unit to enable the business to meet planning deadlines with accurate Oversee balance sheet reconciliations to ensure controls are in place and being adhered to Improve business processes and systems whilst translating and simplifying high volume data into highly relevant management Information and proactively seek and recommend profit improvement suggestions for the business unit Deal with end of year audit queries to support the sign-off of year-end accountsRequirements: Qualified accountant Experience of supporting and influencing operational colleagues Management accounting experience gained in the service, logistics or waste industries an advantage Experience of managing and developing a small team Strong system skills including advanced Excel and some Power BIBy applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
