Electro Mechanical Design Engineer We are currently partnering with a local manufacturing business in Dorset to support their plans for business growth, and part of that is the requirement for more skilled staff including this vacancy for an experienced Electro Mechanical Mechanical Design Engineer A crucial role within the business, the Electro Mechanical Mechanical Design Engineer will support the company's growth and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities as Electro Mechanical Mechanical Design Engineer:You play a big part in creating and implementing in new designs and new product designs for this growing and forward-thinking business.Ideally have a knowledge of both mechanical and electronic engineering, but either consideredBe responsible for assisting with technical and knowledge support within the business for other departments and clients alike.Be able to work with products from cradle to grave, seeing the entire process through.Create and evaluate accurate technical documentation.Be able to conduct thorough stress analysis calculations and reporting, FEA, CFDBe part of the monthly focus meetings with other departmentsExperience as Electro Mechanical Mechanical Design Engineer:Ideally you will have a Degree in Engineering or a relevant equivalent.Ideally you will have a bias towards mechanical engineering.You will be experienced within a lean manufacturing environment with an understanding of manufacturing processes and methods.A continuous improvement focused approach.Experience as a Senior Design Engineer within an engineering businessYou must have a solid demonstrable understanding of 2d and 3d design and be experienced with stress analysis.You will be the kind of individual who thinks outside the box and applies a positive approach in the face of challenging situations.
