A dynamic innovation company is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Engineering team. This role will focus on designing, building, and operating technical implementations for various data products, including client-facing tools, internal research tools, and future innovations, potentially incorporating AI features. The Data Engineer will play a key role in the company’s shift towards a unified client portal for both customers and internal users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise data pipelines that integrate research outputs and third-party data into client-facing products.
• Programmatically ingest data from internal and external sources.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines for data movement and processing.
• Build API endpoints and support front-end data visualizations.
• Explore AI tools to enhance data usability for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn structured research into user-friendly data products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in a Data or Software Engineering role.
• Proficiency in AWS services, SQL, and Python
• Experience in business intelligence tools and data visualization.
• Interest in AI and a passion for sustainability and climate change initiatives.
• Strong collaboration skills and interest in building innovative data products.
