Project Engineer (Electrical Bias) Location: South East London Job Type: Permanent Salary: up to £55,000 per annum We are on the lookout for a skilled Project Engineer with an electrical bias to become a pivotal part of the National Theatre Capital Projects Team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to a range of exciting infrastructure upgrade projects set for completion by March 2026. If you have a passion for engineering and a knack for electrical services, we want you on our team! Day to Day of the role: Serve as the primary engineering contact for Contractors, Designers, NT Project Managers, external Project Managers, and the Programme Manager. Provide expert advice and support on all engineering matters, with a focus on electrical services. Ensure seamless coordination and communication between all parties involved in the projects. Conduct thorough investigations and surveys, and liaise with the Facilities team to align with Business-as-Usual operations. Oversee the design, specification, and implementation of electrical systems within the project portfolio. Maintain compliance with Building Regulations, construction standards, EWR, COSHH, manual handling, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Project Engineer with an electrical bias in building, infrastructure, or construction projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders. A solid understanding of Building Regulations, construction standards, EWR, COSHH, manual handling, and quality assurance. A recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent, with qualifications to degree level or HNC.
