Production Supervisor

Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading FMCG Food Manufacturer near Glasgow to assist them in finding a Production Supervisor for their night shift team.  This is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience with one of the UK’s largest food manufacturing businesses. Shifts:  Nights 4on, 4off, 18:60 - 06:30 A brief summary of your role and responsibilities: Be committed and driven to succeed with experience of managing and developing a team Demonstrate delivery of KPIs and be able to build strong working relationships with both your own team and across different functions. Managing daily budgets, including labour and materials, and be responsible for reporting on these on a daily basis. Ensure conformance to daily plans, ensuring that your area is audit and GMP compliant on a daily basis. Put safety at the forefront of what you do, ensuring procedures are complied with which includes logging accidents and near misses if they happen. Responsible for directly managing a team, managing headcounts, and upskilling and developing team members. Oversee the absence management of your team and conduct investigations and disciplinaries where appropriate.  Be your teams first point of contact and promote the company values and foster a culture of trust within the team  Skills & Experience required: We're ideally seeking a candidate with similar experience in a Team leader / Supervisor role, from within a food / FMCG manufacturing environment
