My client, a progressive and fast-growing business in Buntingford are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join them for this full-time, office based opportunity. The primary focus of this role will be managing the subcontractor ledger, ensuring all entries are processed accurately and efficiently. You will report into a interpersonal and astute Director and the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and a strong attention to detail. Key Duties: Accurately process and maintain records for subcontractor payments, ensuring compliance with CIS regulations. Input data with a high level of accuracy to ensure financial records are up to date and correct. Ensure all payments are processed in line with CIS requirements, including verifying subcontractors and applying the correct deductions. Review and process subcontractor invoices, ensuring they match the agreed terms and contracts. Assist with monthly reconciliations of the subcontractor ledger, ensuring any discrepancies are identified and resolved. Generate reports on subcontractor payments, deductions, and outstanding balances for management review. The successful candidate will be experienced in the duties listed above, be a great team player and able to commute to the client offces in Buntingford for full-time work.
