Company Description Brook Capital is an independent investment group with operations in the UK and Malta, focusing on providing Seed, buyout and growth capital for small to medium-sized companies in the Built Environment industry. The firm aims to build market leaders by making majority and minority investments and supporting sustainable growth through acquisitions and organic means. Alongside private capital, the firm provides access to a network of industry experts and strategic partners to help its portfolio companies scale and achieve growth. Role Description Brook Capital is considering options in becoming regulated and looking to support & partner with an individual looking to make their own mark as a GP. This is a full-time role for an aspiring General Partner to build a platform and offering to the LP market in partnership with Brook Capital. The role will hold ownership in the GP venture and be jointly responsible for raising capital from LPs, managing investments, strategic decision-making, and working closely with co-owners and management teams of portfolio companies. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and supporting portfolio companies in achieving sustainable growth and profitability. Qualifications Financial Analysis, Investment Evaluation, and Portfolio Management skills Expertise working at high level within a GP Strong Business Acumen and Strategic Planning abilities Excellent Communication and Relationship Management skills Experience in the Built Environment industry or related sectors preferable but not imperative Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
