Job Requirements / Description
Our client, an international speciality chemical manufacturer is seeking a Permanent Production Chemist to join their talented team. The successful candidate will support the production of high-value catalysts, conduct routine analytical work, collate and analyse production and quality control data, and assist with problem-solving.
The Production Chemist will work under the direct supervision of the Senior Production Chemist
The main duties include:
•
Lab equipment setup and tear-down
•
maintenance of production records
•
Performing quality control, basic troubleshooting and repairs to production equipment
•
General housekeeping
•
Compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, reporting non-conformances and incidents,
•
contributing to procedure development
•
Deputising for the Senior Production Chemist when needed.
Requirements:
•
Experience in Chemistry
•
Knowledge of SOPs and analytical techniques
•
Ability to collate and analyse production and quality data
•
Strong problem-solving skills
•
Understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
