It fosters a joyful learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and creativity.
The school’s leadership prioritizes wellbeing, providing a nurturing space for both students and staff alike. With excellent resources, a focus on the whole child, and a collaborative atmosphere among educators, this school is the perfect place to grow as a teacher and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners.
About the role:
As an EYFS Teacher, you’ll be a key player in guiding our youngest learners as they take their first steps in education. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives on fostering a love of learning through play-based activities, creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment where each child feels seen and supported.
In this part-time role, you’ll work with a small, close-knit team in the EYFS department, planning engaging activities that support the children’s development across the Early Years curriculum. With opportunities for creativity and input into school initiatives, this role is as rewarding as it is dynamic, making it an ideal fit for a dedicated and imaginative educator ready to make an impact.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with an emphasis on Early Years education.
• Proven experience or a strong passion for working with early learners in the EYFS setting.
• An adaptable, enthusiastic, and patient approach, with a deep commitment to supporting the holistic development of each child.
• Strong communication skills, fostering positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and children.
• Ability to create and maintain a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment that promotes exploration and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement daily lesson plans that incorporate hands-on learning, storytelling, creative arts, and outdoor play.
• Assess children’s progress through observation and documentation, tailoring support to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with the EYFS team to create a vibrant, inclusive classroom environment that aligns with the school’s values and curriculum goals.
• Engage with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on children’s progress and responding to any questions or concerns.
• Support the school’s ethos by actively participating in school-wide events, contributing to the development of the EYFS department, and embracing professional growth opportunities.
Perks and Benefits:
This role offers a competitive daily rate, but it’s the supportive environment and the sense of community that truly set this school apart. Staff here benefit from ongoing professional development, structured mentorship, and a warm, inclusive team that celebrates achievements big and small. Enjoy access to a range of resources, beautifully maintained outdoor areas for early years play, and the chance to work in a school that values balance and wellbeing. Whether you’re looking to make your mark in early years teaching or to bring your expertise to a school that values every educator’s voice, this position is an exceptional opportunity.
