A foster carer is a family or individual who opens their home to support young people who are not able to live with their birth families. Fostering a child comes with great responsibility and understanding that each young person needs support and nurturing.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children in your care
Promote the physical, emotional, and educational development of the children
Encourage positive relationships and support childrens connections with their birth families
Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to meet the individual needs of each child
Maintain accurate records and report on the progress and well-being of children
Requirements:
Over the age of 21 years
Have a permanent spare bedroom
Have the right to remain in the UK
Genuine passion for improving the lives of children
Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate different age groups and needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Resilience and the ability to manage changing situations
Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting
