Role: Training Content Developer
Reporting to: Global Head of People and Culture Location: London (Hammersmith)
Key Purpose of the role: Reporting directly into the Global HO People & Culture this is a key role to drive our training and operational standards. You will be responsible to create and implement our training materials and LMS, in line with the wider people and operational plans.
Responsibilities Work closely with the LMS Adviser ensuring all online modules are designed in line with our brand standards and requirements including all Food Safety, Health and Safety modules are compliant and are fit for purpose Working within the LMS to develop a full Training strategy for our onsite Hospitality teams both FOH & BOH Develop training materials for our site team – including but not exclusively (Brand inductions, Standard Operation Procedures, Brand Standard Documentation, Operations Manuals etc.. ) Develop training manuals and deliver training for all Boxooo systems: including but not limited to – HRS/Reservations/Purchasing/ Food Safety System etc… To ensure all the relevant legislative training to ensure the Company targets are consistently achieved and legislative requirements are met and adhered to To maintain awareness in legislative changes regarding food hygiene and health and safety and implement changes to ensure compliance Conduct continual training needs analysis, to develop, implement, and update Management and leadership developmental training courses, career pathways, high potentials and materials in response to business needs, as and when necessary - considering the associated financial costs To regularly review guest experience and team capability with Operations Managers, and to provide support, refresher training and ad hoc training as required at restaurant level to include team and Managers To maintain awareness at restaurant level of hygiene, health and safety, food and service standards, notice boards, recruitment and selection, payroll and people procedures to be able to coach, advise or assist managers regarding all business processes Develop an ongoing Manager’s in Training program (Developing and onboarding Managers and Senior Chefs) across business by liaising with General Managers and Operations Managers to discuss and review the MIT’s training and progress, working in partnerships with local trainers Work alongside Operations Team by spending days in their areas to identify ways in which the Training Department can add value. To liaise regularly with Operations Managers to ensure effective channels of communication and identify any issues Support openings by creating opening plans ensuring all team members receive adequate training and development Review and act on data extracted from the LMS System

Experience: At least 5 years’ experience working in a Training department – with an operational understanding within the catering and hospitality industry – specifically from a franchising or global brand Proven track record of the development of training materials, SOP’s and an in depth understanding of LMS platforms
