We are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join our dynamic Finance team in Corby.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind our division's financial success, supporting the wider group while forging strong relationships with key stakeholders.
You'll provide insightful analysis and strategic recommendations that will shape the future growth and performance of our business.

What you will be doing:
- Directly manage our divisional Finance Assistant, ensuring they meet and exceed their key accountabilities.
- Support the Finance Assistant in the preparation of management accounts, including reconciliation, posting journals, and reporting. Present results to the budget holders and Head of Commercial Finance, playing a pivotal role in consolidating these into the Group Board pack.
- Oversee the production of budgets and forecasts, providing critical insights and support to ensure ongoing accuracy and effectiveness.
- Dive deep into performance metrics, optimizing financial outcomes and driving strategic decision-making.
- Provide first-class commercial support to divisional Directors and Senior Managers. Enhance profitability, support contract negotiations, and spearhead cost reduction initiatives.
- Present in-depth performance analysis at divisional Profit & Loss review meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and results are clear.
- Apply statutory accounting principles accurately and provide expert advice to supported areas.
- Contribute to the continual enhancement of our IT systems, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the board.

- Qualified Expert: You hold a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.

- Analytical Pro: You bring proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Commercial Savvy: You have prior experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role, engaging with multiple key stakeholders within a commercial business.
- Strategic Thinker: You possess a strong ability to understand and analyse complex financial data, driving strategic decision-making.
- Effective Communicator: You excel at conveying financial insights effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Inquisitive Mind: You are inquisitive and analytical, consistently asking the right questions to delve deeper into financial data.
- Detail-Oriented: You maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Team Player: You demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
