Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services (Remote) Permanent Northamptonshire (Remote) £50,000 - £60,000 An independent Engineering Consultancy at the forefront of the Energy and Building Services Engineering sector is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer. Their head office is based in Northamptonshire but for the right candidate, they offer this is a fully remote position. Required Skills: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering. 6+ years of UK building services experience. Progressing towards or recently achieved professional membership status (Chartered or Associate). Strong communication skills for a client-facing role. Analytical, resourceful, and problem-solving mindset.Responsibilities: Serve as the electrical lead or project manager on various projects. Design lighting, small power, fire alarm, lightning protection, sub-mains distribution, voice/data infrastructure, security, and ancillary electrical services. Utilise design software to prepare calculations and designs. Prepare specifications, written reports, and condition surveys. Compile equipment schedules.
