Group Risk Officer

Eames Consulting is partnering with a Lloyd's syndicate who are seeking a Chief Risk Officer for their London office.

The role supports the Chief Risk Officer in managing and enhancing the company’s risk and capital management framework. This role offers exposure beyond typical risk management tasks, contributing to key strategic initiatives and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Group’s Risk and Capital Management Framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., Solvency II).
• Assist in risk monitoring and reporting, including preparing quarterly CRO reports and regulatory filings like ORSA and SFCR.
• Facilitate stress testing and scenario analysis for strategic planning.
• Provide risk oversight, working with finance, actuarial, and modelling teams.
• Support the coordination of risk management committees and cross-functional meetings.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of risk management.
• Strong understanding of Solvency II and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
