Construction Estimator

I am in the market for an experienced Estimator to join a privately owned contractor based in Coventry. As a principal Contractor, the business operates across many industry sectors, which include the following: Commercial, Industrial, retail, Education with project values ranging from £1m - £10m. They have a strong reputation for client and supply chain engagement and for delivering the best value in all that they do. Reporting to the Director, the ideal candidate will have the ability to run their own estimating and have the desire to progress their experience to include membership of a professional body. With attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills, on completion of the probation the Estimator will be invited to join the company Work Based Learning and Development Programme to provide support through their own career development. * A creative and innovative approach to problem solving. * Good commercial awareness, written and verbal communication skills. * To have a good attention to detail. * IT skills and the ability to learn new software packages.
