Operations & Maintenance Contracts Manager

Position: Operations, Maintenance & Facilities Contracts ManagerLocation: Aberdeen3 days in the officeStaff or PAYE ContractThe OM & Facilities Contracts Manager is responsible for driving strategic contracting across the organization. The role develops and implements a category management approach, creates annual procurement plans, and manages the contract lifecycle from strategy to performance. They lead the post-award contract management, ensuring contractors meet performance targets. The role also needs to demonstrate skills in MRP implementations and management.Job Description Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholdersContribute to strategy development papers, invitations to tender, evaluation plans, recommendations to award, and negotiating plans to ensure alignment with company goalsConduct regular performance discussions with direct reports, fostering cross-functional cooperation and mentoring emerging leaders within the department. Professional Skills and Experiences Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing maintenance contracts within the Oil & Gas Industry Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing large EPC contracts Experience in MRP implementations and management, using different of MRP systems as deterministic / reorder point, etc. Vast experience in the contracts domain within the Oil & Gas industry Proficient in Oil & Gas Supply Chain Management within the UKCS’s regulatory frameworks, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and contracting practicesDemonstrates strong commercial and contractual acumen. Educational Qualification certifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree is preferred Certified in CIPS, CSCP, PMP, CPSM etc. are preferred. Other Requirements The role may require travelling offshore for certain business requirements.
