YourRole:
As a Gas and HeatingBreakdown Technician at Paradigm, you'll be part of our dedicatedDirect Labour Operation (DLO). We provide everything you need inyour role, from a fully equipped hybrid van and fuel card to amobile phone, tablet, and the necessary work clothing and PPE. Yourprimary focus will be on delivering high-quality gas services,including breakdown diagnostics, repairs, and servicing, to ourcustomers across our extensive propertyportfolio.
You will be the face of Paradigm inthe community, ensuring our customers receive prompt, courteous,and professional service. We aim for a first-time fix whereverpossible, and your expertise will be critical in maintaining thesafety and comfort of our customers'homes.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Gas Servicing and Repairs:Carry out gas servicing and breakdown repairs to a high standard,adhering to all relevant regulations and codes of practice. Ensureall work is completed within target timescales and to Paradigm'sexacting standards.
- Documentation: Complete allnecessary documentation, including certificates and reports,accurately and promptly, in line with companyprocedures.
- CustomerInteraction: Engage with customers professionallyand courteously, ensuring that their experience reflects Paradigm'scommitment to excellent customer service.
- Health and SafetyCompliance: Follow all health and safety procedures,conducting task-specific risk assessments, and reporting any unsafeconditions or practices.
- Efficient Resource Use:Manage materials and equipment effectively, minimising waste andmaintaining adequate van stock levels to ensure jobcompletion.
- TeamCollaboration: Work closely with other team members,reporting to the Gas Supervisor and liaising with the CustomerServices and Compliance Scheduling Team to ensure seamless servicedelivery.
What We'reLooking For:
- Experience: Significantexperience in gas and heating breakdowns across a range of domesticappliances.
- EssentialQualifications: ACS Gas Qualifications - CCN1,CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1.
- Technical Skills: Competencein electrical work related to heating systems and a methodicalapproach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge: Strongunderstanding of relevant legislation, building regulations, andhealth and safety standards.
- Communication: Clear andeffective communication skills, with a commitment to excellentcustomer service.
- DrivingLicence: A full, valid driving licence isessential.
