East Kent Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 730,000 people in East Kent and providing specialist services for a far wider population. As a teaching Trust, we play a vital role in the education and training of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, working closely with universities. The Trust employs over 10,000 people and has a budget of over £1bn. The Trust has been through a challenging period where the quality of care in some of our service areas has not been at the standard that our population should expect. As Chief People Officer, you will play a critical role in our executive team, supporting our leaders and people to deliver the improvements we all wish to see.
