Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Survey Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess
a strong background in systems management, process improvement, and automation. They should be well-versed
in quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in survey operations.
The Role
As a Survey Manager, you will oversee all estimates, survey projects, work allocation, and scheduling. You will be responsible for managing and developing a high-performing survey team, ensuring the quality and accuracy of all surveying work. Additionally, you will collaborate with surveyors, clients, and the senior management team to grow
and enhance the business.
- Lead, mentor, and develop survey team members.
- Champion self-development and excellent work quality.
- Improve training programs from apprentices to senior surveyors.
- Conduct staff meetings and toolbox talks.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to generate repeat business.
- Ensure efficiency and profitability of projects.
- Undertake senior surveying responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain high technical standards and quality of work
Experience Required
- Proficient in using total stations, laser scanners, GPS, equipment and LSS, N4CE, AutoCAD software.
- Previous experience managing a surveying team including carrying out appraisals, disciplinary procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate effectively to team members and other
- departments.
- Excellent client-facing and customer services skills
- A relevant Geomatics Surveying undergraduate, Additional masters or postgraduate degree, or equivalent
- information level of knowledge gained through experience.
