Accounts Manager

I am recruiting an Accounts Manager for an independent 3 partner accountancy practice based in North London. With a workforce of c.30 employees, this a key role overseeing the accounts department, and you will be joining a friendly firm with true work-life balance.

What will this Accounts Manager entail?

• Responsible for managing a client portfolio, consisting of a wide range of industries including property, construction, and hospitality
• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Work alongside client managers and partners
• Supervising Juniors, reviewing work and training and development
• Liaising directly with clients by email, phone and attending client visits

The ideal Accounts Manager will:

• QBE, ACCA or ACA Qualified
• 5-10 years of UK accountancy practice experience
• Conversant in accounts and bookkeeping software: CCH/Xero/Sage/QuickBooks
• Experience preparing statutory accounts from primary records to completion

First-stage interviews are taking place of zoom first stage, with second-stage interviews happening face-to-face in the offices.
