C# Application Developer - Edinburgh (Hybrid) 40,000

KO2's client is currently seeking a talented C# Application Developer to join their innovative development team in Edinburgh. If you're passionate about creating desktop applications for cutting-edge scientific instrumentation, this could be the perfect role for you!

As a C# Application Developer, you'll be part of a dynamic team of 45 professionals, including 15 developers divided across 3 teams. Your focus will be within the UV products division, working on a brand-new software package designed to control advanced scientific instruments. This software plays a vital role in managing motors, moving components in and out of systems, controlling various light sources, and delivering user-friendly interfaces to customers.

Key Responsibilities for the C# Application Developer:

  • Collaborate on software solutions for scientific instrumentation control
  • Develop desktop applications using C# and .NET, with opportunities to learn or expand your skills in WPF
  • Work closely with hardware teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and integrating databases as required
  • Focus on both frontend user interfaces and backend functionality
