This role is specifically to work with an amazing student, from our Connected Provision, both in school and within the community. The successful candidate will have the ability to build relationships with young people with Cognition and Learning difficulties and Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH). The ideal candidate will have lots of energy and will be creative in implementing a programme that supports the students' EHCP outcomes, prepares them for Adulthood and their next steps. Key Responsibilities: Implement bespoke learning opportunities that will engage and motivate our students.Provide experiences for individual students in the provision linked to EHCP and Preparation for Adulthood outcomes.Liaise with the Work Experience co-ordinator to implement and support meaningful opportunities in the work place.To deliver a bespoke timetable which includes a blend of academic learning and community inclusion, volunteering, travel training etcTo support the therapeutic and SEMH needs of the students using ThriveTo champion students and work closely with other professionals and familiesKeep accurate records and risk assessments for activitiesEngage in continuous professional developmentDo you have: Relevant qualifications and experience of working with young people with Special Educational NeedsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, passion, creativity and commitmentThe ability to remove barriers, make a differenceAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamThis is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills and experience in a motivating and highly rewarding environment where students are at the heart of everything we do.
