Join a British company specialising in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as the Head of Production.
You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the entire production process by ensuring that all manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance, and that products get delivered on time and within budget.
About the Role:
- Oversee the entire production process ensuring efficient use of resources to meet targets.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing production team.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other methodologies to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with both company and industry standards.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including government agencies, defence contractors and suppliers, to ensure seamless production and delivery of defence products.
About You:
- Extensive experience in production management within the engineering or manufacturing sector, with the last few years spent in a leadership role.
- Mechanical and electrical manufacturing process experience.
- Extensive knowledge of production planning, process optimisation and quality control.
- Experience in the defence sector, uncrewed aerial and/or ground systems or a highly regulated industry is highly desirable.
