My client is seeking a driven and capable Shift Manager to lead their inbound Logistics team on a 4on-4off shift pattern in the Hereford area. You will be overseeing operations, ensuring efficiency and maintaining high standards of performance. Description The role of Shift Manager will involve: Leading and managing a large inbound warehouse team, including Supervisors and Team Leaders. Working a 4-on/4-off shift pattern 6am-6pm. Overseeing operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Managing agency supplier relationships for temporary labour. Implementing and maintaining high-performance KPI standards. Conducting disciplinary and investigation processes. Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Coordinating with other departments for seamless operations. Addressing and resolving any issues or conflicts within the team. Profile A successful Shift Manager should have: A strong understanding of fast-paced distribution operations. Proven experience in a managerial role in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain. Excellent leadership and team management skills, inc. coaching and mentoring. A proven track record of managing large teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to handle high-pressure situations. Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
