Lawyer - Dispute Resolution & Insolvency

Top Legal 500 law firm located in close to Basildon and Chelmsford are currently looking to add to their team.Candidates with a background in Dispute Resolution and/or Insolvency with 1 - 5 years PQE are welcome to apply!You will be working within the Dispute Resolution department focusing on the area of Insolvency law preferably in acting for both Insolvency Practitioners and Directors and acting for a mix of both Claimant and Defendants from instruction to conclusion of the dispute.Responsibilities to include:Handling and maintaining own caseload with guidance from Senior Lawyers with an emphasis on contentious insolvencyDisplaying excellent file management skills to meet the needs of the businessAdvising clients on the funding optionsUndertaking advocacyAdvising clients on procedure and alternative dispute resolution processes.Undertaking any other reasonable duties from time to time allocated to the roleProviding clients with high quality, proactive legal advice, which meets client needsContributing and participating to the firm’s general marketing initiatives, marketing events including networking, seminars and writing marketing materialCandidate Specification:Solicitor qualified in England & Wales - 1- 5 years PQE within the area of Dispute Resolution and/or InsolvencyDelivers high quality legal services on own initiativeBenefits include:Salary is in excess of £52,00025 days holiday + bank holidaysPension schemeLife assuranceDiscounted Gym membershipIf you would like to have a confidential discussion, please email Victoria Kemp on [email protected] and she will call you to discuss. **Please only apply if you are qualified in the UK and have been practising in the UK as Solicitor of England & Wales.
