SEN Teaching Assistant Day shift part time / full time roles available A fantastic opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistant or aspiring SEN Teachers still undergoing their degree to join my client in a local school to support SEND children in their education and development. This fantastic opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work closely with children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis. My school requires an SEN Teaching Assistant who will work closely on a 1:1 basis with a primary child who needs additional emotional support and help engaging in their lessons.  Benefits you will receive: Additional Training Opportunities On-site parking Competitive pay scale (£85-£100 per day) Holiday Scheme Regular access to your own dedicated consultant  The Successful candidate should: Have previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs. Must be flexible and adaptable as you may be required to work with various students with different needs. Have a level 2 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care, Teaching Assistant or the equivalent. Have confidence working with children on a 1:1 basis. Experience working in care / support roles for children with SEND will also be considered.  You will be required to: Work as part of a team when supporting the school staff in their day-to-day duties and safeguarding the children. Utilising your experience and qualifications when supporting children with special educational needs or disabilities. Support SEND children on a 1:1 basis. Liaise with parents and other teaching staff to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to.  Where do I apply?!
